| Justice (R) Tariq Mehmood
was born in Pakistan. He is most famous as the Leader of Lawyers'
Movement Pakistan. Honourable Mr. Justice (R) Tariq Mahmood was one of
the judges who refused to take oath under General Pervez Musharraf. He
was a judge in Balchistan High court. He lived in Queta for a while. He
was also the Former President of Supreme Court Bar Association of
Pakistan. He was also in the panel of lawyers of Chief Justice Iftikhar
Chaudhry's suspension case of presidential reference in the Supreme
Judicial Council (SJC). He arrested and detained with his family after
Emergency imposed in 3rd November 2007. |
