Mahmood Khan Achakzai (Pashto: محمود خان اڅکزی) is a Pakistani politician and chairman of the Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, a Pashtun nationalist party based in the pashtun belt of Pakistan. The son of activist Abdul Samad Khan Achakzai, Achakzai remained a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan three times from his hometown of Qilla Abdullah and Quetta. He was the only Pashtun nationalist MNA to be elected in the 2002 electoral sweep of the Pashtun belt by the religious Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA).

There are rumours that Mr. Mehmood Khan Achakzai is most favorite nominee for caretaker prime minister of Pakistan.But i strongly oppose his nomination,as he is only nice & wise politician these days in Pakistan. Please do not make foolish attempts to spoil this sober politician in the race of office. I also request with Achakzai sahib, that please do not accept this futile attempt.You can take it as suggestion, request begging, or what so ever you name it.

a great politician of probably all times.there are many reasons why i say so,mainly his bravery and straight forwardness while making statements,unlike most of the others who are hypocrites .
i dont see that his like politician without making alliance with another big party can ever come to the big screen but still he is a standout politician.
