Kamran Bokhari is STRATFOR’s Vice President of Middle Eastern and
South Asian Affairs. Mr. Bokhari has published numerous analytical,
scholarly, and theoretical articles related to geopolitics of the
Islamic world. Bokhari is also the author of a book on radical/militant
Islamist political thought, entitled Voices of Jihad: New Writings on
Radical Islam.
Mr. Bokhari has presented research papers in many international
academic and policy forums and has given briefings to various U.S. and
Canadian government departments.
Mr. Bokhari has been with STRATFOR since 2003 during which he has
played a pivotal role in enhancing STRATFOR’s understanding on a diverse
array of geographical areas — Israel/Palestinian territories, Saudi
Arabia,
Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, etc. He has been instrumental
in developing an institutional understanding of Islamism and jihadism.
He regularly gives interviews to leading global media such as the
BBC, CNBC, Washington Post, New York Times, Reuters, Christian Science
Monitor, AP, AFP, National Journal, Fox News, NPR, Toronto Star, Globe
& Mail, CBC TV, CBC Radio, and Al Jazeera. |
