There were references to the economic pressures on the US policy to withdraw from Afghanistan. I totally agreed with this assumption. Economic pressure plus casualties has been the decisive factors in the defeats and withdrawals from many countries, including Vietnam, Afghanistan by UK, Soviet Union, now USA and several other countries. USA is now negotiating with Taliban. My question is:
Have we ever thought how long will it take Pakistan to come under comparable economic pressures to negotiate with our Taliban? I have not seen any discussion over this question. Why? Are we richer than these big powers? May be we do not believe such type of analysis until Dacca falls and 90,000 soldiers surrender.
There is only one party that discusses this issue. It has one crore membership. It is destined to lead Pak to a peaceful democratic revolution to crush the status quo and lead the country to prosperity and pride. That party is called PTI. You are invited to join the caravan. Regards
