The public, the media and the legal community of Pakistan must stand up and demand this action. The present Chief Justice was the first person in Pakistan who by defying the generals and taking a stand against illegal authority laid the foundations of establishing RULE OF LAW. This is the time now for all Pakistanis together with legal community to raise their voices and put a stop to "illegality and breaking of the law" and demand merciless despatch of the guilty. |

(c) he is, in the case of Senate, not less than thirty years of age and is enrolled as a voter in any area in a Province or, as the case may be, the Federal Capital or the Federally Administered Tribal Areas, from where he seeks membership;
(d) he is of good character and is not commonly known as one who violates Islami. |
