To add , post 9/11 the USA only asked Taleban to handover or expel Al Qaeda from Afghanistan. AlQaeda were Arabs not Pashtuns but the demented and unIslamic sense of misplaced tribal hospitality was cited by Taleban bringing the entire region into death and destruction,
Waziristan situation is just the same and the locals are responsible themselves for what is coming to them by way of Drone attacks. Why dont they cooperate with the Pakistan Army ? |

Pakistanis are masters in verbal gymnastics and prefer to sit on their behind instead of actively participating in improving their own lot and solve the many problems that Pakistan is facing. They are very good in taking out protest rallies and destroying private properties if someone unknown makes a video making fun of Islam.Pakistanis wear their religion around their necks like a millstone which is the main reason that their country is so backward and hated by most countries around the world.One can not run a country like Pakistan by liste ning to radical Islamic mullahs, shouting slogans and begging for money or selling their honour and soul. |

I dont agree with Ayaz Wazir that he is saying that All is well in in Tribal regions. My friend was kidnapped from Lahore along with the car and they were told to reach near tribal regions where after 3 million rupees My friend was given back but the Car was not given back and kidnappers were Speaking Pushto. Tribal regions are the core of Car theft of Pakistan and almost all cars from Punjab stolen reach tribal regions and then smuggled to Afghanistan.
Mr Ayaz Wazir should open his eyes as Tribals dont have any industry or Agricultrue and they are involved in Drug trafficking around Pakistan and in Car theft and these regions never pay any tax and they dont pay any Electricity dues.
SO all in not well with Tribal regions. I have Pukhtoon friends but sorry to say they always blame others for their shortcomings and always call Punjabis as Black People, Baighairat and other insulting Slurs like DALL KHORS and others and this racist factor must be tackled among Pukhtoon friends |

Why is Imran Khan taking a Peace March to South Waziristan ? Another
political gimmick perhaps.
The Drone issue is actually in North Waziristan where the Taleban and
Al Qaeda are embedded
amongst the locals as human shields. Imran should go there if he is
sincere ,and counsel the locals not to provide a sanctuary to such
terrorists.
But then the wily Khan knows how to swim without getting his feet

1. Taleban/ Al Qaeda have never butchered the locals in Waziristan where they find sanctuary.
2. Drones fix their targets based upon local intelligence assets themselves.who could effectively avoid Drone attacks and its collateral damage by cooperating with the Pakistan Army instead.
3. Mehsud is the same tribe fomenting trouble in Pakistan e.g Baitullah Mehsud eliminated Benazir Bhutto.
4.Imran and the media should show to the world the Army/ Civilian Rehabilitation Centers for the war disabled if they are sincere.
