 | Sanjay injured, yet continues shoot 22 June 2012

Despite utmost precautions, shooting action sequences is never a cakewalk. More so, due to the risk of injuries; sometimes fatal ones. While fortunate to avoid an injury to his eye, Sanjay Dutt suffered a deep cut while filming an extensive action sequence a couple of days ago in Jaipur for Soham's next, reportedly based on Gujarati gangster Sharman Munjha.
Some of the other characters in the sequence were wielding swords. "It could be a case of mis-timing when Sanju got struck by one. Thankfully, the blade missed his eye by about an inch," recalls a unit member adding that the actor, who was bleeding profusely, was rushed for medical attention immediately. "He got a few stitches after which he returned to the location, saying we shouldn't break the shoot."
Needless to say, Soham and his crew suggested the actor rest a couple of days. "But Sanju insisted that we continue shooting as a huge set has been built for this spell. Besides, there were 500 extras participating in the shoot too. So he didn't wish the schedule to be delayed in any manner," states our informer.
On his part, Soham confirmed saying, "Yes, Dutt saab took a cut to the head. The bleeding was severe. He was given immediate medical attention. But he insisted on continuing the shoot without a day's break. The injury was concealed under make up to enable shooting. Fortunately, everything is fine." | | See Also in Showbiz News
