Lahore: The Punjab government on Monday placed 33 young doctors under house arrest and shifted them to Kot Lakpat Jail.
DCO Lahore Noorul Amin Mengal said that they had placed 33 doctors, who were arrested on Monday during police raids, under house arrest. “All the doctors have been shifted to Jail,” he added.
The DCO said that Gawal Mandi Police had also arrested two doctors of Meo Hospital on charge of a child murder and registered case against them under section 302. “Both the doctors will be produced in the local court for remand,” he added. | | See Also in Political News

KARACHI: Five more persons were killed in overnight firing and violence incidents in different parts of this mega-metropolis city here, Geo News reported Wednesday morning.
Police said that unknown persons opened fire on a vehicle killing van driver Imran at sector 5-C2 of North Karachi in the vicinity of Khawaja Ajmernagri police station.

MUZAFFARABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will visit Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) for the first time after being elected PM and having taken over the charge of the office, Geo News reported.
