 | Priyanka Chopra not in Karan Johar’s film 27 June 2012

Much has been written about Karan Johar's onscreen adaptation of Amish Tripathi's book, Immortals of Meluha. While Hrithik Roshan is the frontrunner for the role of Lord Shiva, the role of Parvati has been up for grabs for sometime.
The buzz is that the top brass in the production house were keen to recreate the Vijay-Kaali (Hrithik and Priyanka Chopra) jodi from Agneepath (given that the film was a big success).
Reportedly, the executives were happy with the onscreen chemistry between PC and Hrithik. But when we quizzed PC, she denied the rumour. "I've not been approached for the role," she says.
Vidya Balan, apparently, is now the frontrunner for the part.
Meanwhile, offscreen, Priyanka has been making an effort to reach out and make friends with other heroines. While Kareena Kapoor is believed to be her latest BFF, PC has also been bonding with her Barfi co-star Ileana D'Cruz. "Ileana is a lovely girl. We have become really good friends and hang out often visit each other. In fact, recently she came to meet me on the sets of Krrish 2 in Hyderabad. I too visited her on her set. We get along well," she says. | | See Also in Showbiz News
