Lower Dir: Police on Wednesday claimed to have foiled a suicide bombing plot after killing an alleged suicide bomber in Jandol area of Lower Dir district of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa province.
Police claimed that they have shot dead a ‘suicide bomber’ outside Mayar police station. They added that the suicide jacket of the bomber exploded when the cops opened fire on him.
Lower Dir district is one of the Pakistani district which borders Afghanistan. Pakistani security agencies claimed that the militants from Afghanistan commonly attempt to attack country through the border. | | See Also in Political News

ISLAMABAD: Muslim League–Nawaz (ML-N) has called for a meeting of its parliamentary party on May 20 here, Geo News reported Saturday.
