Islamabad: Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf (PTI) has announced a schedule for its intra-party elections across the country, starting the campaign with the polls in Islamabad.
According to PTI official website, the complete voters list has been published and any complaint shall reach the ISB office until 19th October 2012.
Nominations will be open from 22nd to 24th October and finalized nominations will be announced on 25th October. The elections will be held on 2nd November.
Addressing a news briefing in Islamabad, senior vice president of PTI said that almost 58,000 would cast their votes from Islamabad in the first phase of election.
“Voters can also cast their ballots through SMS,” Hamid Khan said.
He further said that after Islamabad, the election process would also be conducted in Khyber Pakhtunkhua and Punjab adding that the party election would be completed by December 2012. |  | See Also in Political News
