Lahore: Pakistan fashion design council PFDC has announced dates for upcoming session of PFDC L’Oreal Paris bridal week, indeed a good news for both designers and fashionistas.
The event has been scheduled to take place in Lahore again from October 3rd to 6th, in collaboration with the world’s best beauty brand, L’Oreal Paris.
The announcement follows the tremendous success of debut PFDC L’Oreal bridal week held in December, 2011. The event was the first of its kind in the history of Pakistan fashion arena, which showcased collections of top Pakistani fashion designers including, HSY, Maria.B, Karma, Asifa & Nabeel, Umar Sayeed, Asim jofa, Ali xeeshan etc. Pakistan’s top models including Mehreen Sayeed, Nadia Hussain, Ayyan Ali, Meesha shafi, rabiya Chaudery were seen on the ramp. The event was also a golden opportunity for bridal jewellery designers, makeup artists and hair stylists.
The basic motif to continue organizing such a bridal week is to give a new look for brides and to set changing trends in the wedding attires, as bridal fashion remains the most influential, demanding and primary aspect of Pakistan fashion and style industry. Hence, showcasing various bridal trends at PFDC L’Oreal Paris bridal week is a new margin for designers and makeover artists to fuse both contemporary and traditional look for bridal season 2012-2013.
PFDC will later announce the names of the participating designers, jewelers, and makeup artists for bridal week in September. This time the event will also be featuring individual makeup artists each day who will be presenting their interpretation of bridal makeup trends on their respective days. | | See Also in Showbiz News
