‘New perfume will intoxicates fans’

THE pop star appeared at Macy’s in New York for the launch of her fragrance, which she said was inspired by her mother, Truth Or Dare.
Floral and wood combined with the scent of vanilla and caramelised amber set the aroma apart from other floral fragrances – a combination that Madonna says reminds her of her mother. “My mother was always wearing Fracas and I always remember her smell, but particularly when I would wake up early in the morning and I would come into my parents bedroom and had a couple of hours of quality time with them,” she said. “And I always smelled the smell of gardenias and tuberose on my mother, so I wanted to create a fragrance that reminded me of her.”

Na Maloom Afraad: the game-changer
01 October 2014

KARACHI: Fashion and philanthropy are often considered to be at loggerheads with each other. But in the wake of Pakistani fashion bigwits taking a potent role in addressing socio-political issues prevailing in the country, perceiving fashion as being frivolous is no more than a misnomer. To help generate funds for construction of wells in the drought-ridden Thar, Gul ... Full Story
