Attock: At least six militants were killed after army commandos and militants engaged in a fierce battle inside Kamra Air Base, one of key bases of Pakistan Air Force.
At least eight militants on Thursday night attacked Kamra Air Base, in the early hours of Thursday.
According to military sources, the security forces have succeeded in halting the militants move, killing at least five militants.
The militants attacked the base around 2.30 am PST, using heavy weaponry including hand grenades and IED’s.

KARACHI: Five more persons were killed in overnight firing and violence incidents in different parts of this mega-metropolis city here, Geo News reported Wednesday morning.
Police said that unknown persons opened fire on a vehicle killing van driver Imran at sector 5-C2 of North Karachi in the vicinity of Khawaja Ajmernagri police station.

MUZAFFARABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will visit Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) for the first time after being elected PM and having taken over the charge of the office, Geo News reported.
