 | Judicial Commission proposes names of four new judges for PHC

ISLAMABAD: Judicial Commission Pakistan has proposed names of four new judges for Peshawar High Court, Geo News reported.
The commission, met under the chair of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary, proposed names of Asadullah Chamkani, Rohul Amin, Irshad Qaisar and Shahjahan Akhund for PHC.
According to sources, JC deliberated on nine names and later finalized four names for the PHC.
Following the approval of judicial commission, these names would be sent to parliamentary committee after that President of Pakistan will approve them. | | See Also in Political News

KARACHI: Five more persons were killed in overnight firing and violence incidents in different parts of this mega-metropolis city here, Geo News reported Wednesday morning.
Police said that unknown persons opened fire on a vehicle killing van driver Imran at sector 5-C2 of North Karachi in the vicinity of Khawaja Ajmernagri police station.

MUZAFFARABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will visit Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) for the first time after being elected PM and having taken over the charge of the office, Geo News reported.
