Singer Melissa Totten aka Madonna’s impersonator creates the same magic on stage while performing Madonna’s hit singles as the queen of pop herself. Taking advantage of their uncanny resemblance, she thoroughly enjoys being the diva’s look-alike, as it gives her the chance to travel across the globe.
“It (resemblance) has been an amazing fluke in my life. I am able to entertain people and make them smile. What a dream! I am really lucky,” IANS quoted the look-alike as saying.
With exceptionally similar features and the same golden-blonde hair, this impersonator has been mistaken for the eternal diva several times. “When I’m out on the streets, people think I’m Madonna — ask me for autographs and follow me,” she said, reported the Hindustan Times. She consciously tries to do her hair differently and change her look but unfortunately her eyes give her away as they are exactly like Madonna’s.

LONDON: US writer Lydia Davis, best known for her unconventionally short stories, on Wednesday claimed the prestigious Man Booker International Prize at a London ceremony.
The New York based author beat off competition from the nine other authors who made the shortlist to win the award, which honours "achievement in fiction on the world stage".
While Davis writes conventional short stories, others consist of just one paragraph or sentence.

NEW YORK : German Chancellor Angela Merkel topped Forbes’s list of the world’s most powerful women for the third consecutive year, followed by Brazil’s Dilma Rousseff, the magazine said Wednesday.
