You can always rely on 26-year-old American socialite and actor Olivia Palermo to look effortlessly cool — and she made no exception during New York Fashion week. Olivia stayed elegant in a black draped maxi skirt and structured military jacket with sexy high heels — not overly complicated, chic dressing that could seamlessly go from day to night.
Make-up
Olivia kept her make-up fresh, clean and understated and let her eclectic fashion sense do all the talking. A thick line of liquid liner topped off with thick layers of mascara should get your peepers looking big and enticing. Finish off with a warm peach blush for a healthy glow, and MAC’s Hug Me lip shade (Rs1,700) for a barely there tinge.
Hair
Olivia left her shoulder length honey brown locks open, with the ends curled to give a soft and natural look. To get this look, rub a few drops of anti-frizz serum into wet hair and blow dry it straight with a big round brush. With a small round brush, wrap the ends of your hair into a tight roll and blow dry for about two minutes per section. Add some hair spray to the ends to keep your curls rocking all night!
Accessories
Olivia jazzed up her outfit with a statement gold ring and funky gold bangles, a tan croc clutch and skinny belt. Get your chunky accessories from Accesorize (around Rs3,000) or Zainab Market for cheaper options. Visit Debenhams to view an interesting collection of faux snakeskin clutches (for Rs4,000 a piece) or browse through the racks of Mantra for a cheaper option. A skinny belt can cost you anywhere between Rs500 to Rs1,500 depending on where you shop.
Outfit
The model-cum-actor rocked the event wearing a vintage jacket and top with a Rachel Zoe skirt. Hit Mango for a similar shirt (around Rs2,500) and jacket (around Rs4,000) and Mantra for a maxi skirt (around Rs3,000).

CANNES : A white poodle that plays the part of a blind pet owned by Liberace in the flamboyant biopic “Behind the Candelabra” scooped glory on Friday by winning the Palm Dog for canine talent at the Cannes Film Festival.
