Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon said on Friday that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leaders are reluctant to appear on TV talk shows when there is a chance that the debate will cover the exile deal struck by the Sharifs with Pervez Musharraf.
Talking to reporters in his office, Memon said that the leaders of PML-N have told TV anchors over the phone that they would not attend any programme where Sharjeel Memon is present, because he always shows up with copies of the deal signed by Nawaz Sharif.
The PML-N was at first not even willing to accept that there ever was a plea bargain. But, now when the copies of the deal are being shown to the PML-N leaders, they are reluctant to face the fact that “their captain chose to desert the ship instead of facing trials and persecutions” like other party workers. | | See Also in Political News

|  Two killed as blast hits madrasa in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: At least two people were killed and many others injured when a powerful blast took place near a religious seminary in a densely populated area of Peshawar on Friday,
Police said the explosion happened in a car parked outside a local madrasah – Jamia Darul Uloom Islamia – in Peshawar’s Faqir Abad area where Friday prayer was being offered.
Sources said a religious cleric was apparently target of the blast.

Gunmen on Friday opened fire on a convoy of NATO containers in a northwestern Pakistani town near the Afghan border, killing a driver and wounding a helper, officials said.
The attack took place at Shagai area, 20 kilometres (12 miles) southeast of Landi Kotal, the main town of the troubled Khyber tribal region.
