Lahore: Lahore’s additional district and sessions judge ordered Punjab police on Wednesday to take an action against Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and his son Hamza Shahbaz in Ayesha Ahad Malik case.
The court heard the case of Ayesha Malik seeking registration of a case against Shahbaz and Hamza on charges of extending life threats to the petitioner after the concerned SHO produced his report before the court, AAJ News reported.
According to details, Riffat Ahad Malik, wife of former PML-Q MPA Ahad Malik, filed an application after some gunmen allegedly intercepted her car when she was travelling with her granddaughter.
She said the armed persons warned her to withdraw cases against Hamza and also hurled her life threats. She alleged that Shahbaz and Hamza were behind all these threats.
Ayesha Ahad Malik, said to be the wife of central leader of PML-N MNA Hamza Shahbaz, filed many cases against him and submitted that he was involved in torturing her and her daughter.
