Quetta: Abducted Doctor of Bolan Medical Complex, Ghulam Rasool, has safely reached his home after being made hostage for 17 days by unidentified armed men.
Unknown armed men had abducted psychiatrist Dr Ghulam Rasool from Brewery Road on August 1, two days after a kidnapped senior surgeon of the same college Dr Din Mohammad Bangulzai had been released.
Dr Rasool was on his way home after performing his duty at BMC when armed men intercepted and kidnapped him.
Talking to media, Rasool’s brother Gul Kakar said that Ghulam Rasool safely arrived home on Friday but he was not in a condition to gave further details about the abduction.
According to sources, the matter was resolved after the mediation of tribal leaders and Pakistan army.
It is to be mentioned here that the doctors across Bolchistan had suspended their services in OPD’s and Emergencies, protesting the abduction of Ghulam Rasool. |  | See Also in Political News
