Lahore: A four-member bench of the Lahore High Court (LHC) will now hold proceedings against President Asif Ali Zardari for not surrendering his political office of PPP co-chairperson and performing political activities in the Presidency even after the court’s restraint order as Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, a member of the bench, has gone on leave.
A full court bench of the LHC headed by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial, Justice Nasir Saeed Sheikh, Justice Sheikh Najamul Hasan, Justice Ijazul Ahsan and Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah was scheduled to hear the case.
However, now the four member bench of the LHC will hear the case in which former Chairman Senate and a noted lawyer, Wasim Sajjad will represent President Asif Ali Zardari. |  | See Also in Political News
