I am completely aghast to see the poor quality of both the questions being asked in this programme and the idiotic answers from these so called retd Air Marshals, Base Commander and self proclaimed defence analyst. The first question Mr Hamad Mir wants to know from his guests is if there has been an intelligence failure, as if he is completelly unaware of the fact that warning about an impending attack on a PAF base had been published only a few days earlier in a national newspaper. Alhough great credit should be given to those who in then end did defend this very important PAF base, one of them losing his life in the process, this should not stop us from discussing that this has actually been a huge security breach. I am at a complete loss to learn that we have such poor security for our most important military installations. The fact that the attackers were able to peneterate through the first security cordon and then climb over a 10 feet wall clearly indicates very poor security. |

Mr Hamid Mir, rather than crying about what New York times says and a US journalist reports from Islamabd, you should have spent your time exploring this issue from your guests – if at all they were worthy of being invited to this program. Isn’t it amazing to see that this idiot retd Air Marshall and Base Commander says that the inside of the PAF base and a lot of things that go on inside it are easily viewable from a nearby village. Well if that is really the case, then who is responsible for taking care of this (Mr Air Marshal and Base Commander, if you knew this, why did you not do something about it. Were you waiting for the New York Times editor to sort this out? And we should not forget that this is not the first time it has happened. One would have hoped that those in our miliatry establishment would have learnt something from the previous attacks on GHQ and then on Mehran Naval base. Our journalists and generals spend time complaining about the western media raising worries about our nuclear assetts. The question is why do we give them the opportunity to do so. In the light of what has happened so far, would anybody be surprised if we learn someday that 10 Taliban were killed when they were only 3 feet away from our nuclear assetts. After all what have seen so far that can give us the confidence that this cannot happen – and then this idiot Air Marshall and base commander would then tell you and me that actually there was a village so near this place that people could easily see what was going on inside our nuclear facilities. May God save us from the incompetency of these third class security experts and analysts. |

They analysis is giving out so imprtant informatiuons to every one, specially when they are mentioning what kind of facilities we have at Kamra. ISPR should take notice of it, TV anchors should keep discussions on track
