Sethi is either ignorant of real facts or is deliberately misleading. The precedent that he is quoting relates to a time when the then Chief Justice sent a personal letter to COAS for safety. That was not a court order. The story should be quite different if the Supreme Court issues a direct order as the highest court of the land under Art. 190 of the constitution. |
