Raja vows to defend people’s mandate

Newly-elected PM Raja Pervaiz Ashraf Friday said that no one would be allowed to violate mandate.Clash and conflict among the institutions would not be allowed, he said. Addressing the National Assembly, he said that dialogues are sole solution to all issues. He is in dire need of the opposition cooperation for Accountability Act of which draft would be tabled in the assembly very soon, he said.

This is one of the most beautiful moment in Pakistan's democracy. A peaceful transition has taken place in parliament. I am surprised that instead of celebrating this event, so called 'intellectuals' of the country are busy criticising not only the individual elected but the institution of parliamentry democracy!
