Let us face it, Pakistan is not a civilized country, it is a cruel and vioilent society trying to buying respectability.We congratulate ourselves when Ms.Chinoy wins an oscar for the film depicting attrocities inflicted on our women folks.We claim that Pakistan
won an oscar but the real fact is that Canada won because Ms.Chinoy is a Canadian. Our hypocracy surfaces when people like Mansoor Ijaz produces memogate and we say that he has noting to do with Pakistan because he is an American. Why do we project such a negative image of Pakistan around the world? Why do we treat our women as third rate citizens, subject them to acid burning, honour killings, not allowing them to vote or allow them speak out in courts against injustices. |

does anyone else finds it very problematic that not only that this oscar winning person did not include fakhira in her movie but on top of that did not even bother to return her call for 5 days before she killed herself...I find it very troubling. Its like she was ignored by everyone, including the person who won oscar for herself on the shoulders of people like fakhira. |
