Can someone help me to understand, why media in Pakistan is given an unlimited freedom to criticize sensitive institutions of Pakistan? I live in US but never heard any one criticizing sensitive institutions of U.S like CIA and Armed forces. I also watched a couple of talk shows on different TV channels including GPS hosted by Fareed Zakriya and never experienced any of the participants including members of the Cabinet, Congressmen, Senators, Politicians and Journalists ever criticized CIA and US Armed Forces. The participants always allied with the government policies and actions including, 9/11, IRAQ, AFGHANISTAN, LIBYA and DRONE ATTACKS in Pakistan etc. In my opinion, criticism of sensitive institutions of the country is a character***assination and this trend needs to be stopped immediately. It forces me to believe that some spoiled elements of press and Electronic media are foreign agents and they are not doing any favor to their country. If they are patriot, I would advise them to please stop promoting enemy’s agenda. I think they should have some rules and especially no one should be allowed to criticize ISI and Pakistan Armed Forces.

اس سے پہلے بھی ن لیگ نصرت بھٹو اور بے نظیر بھٹو کی کردار کشی کرچکی ہے. نوے کی دہائی میں نواز شریف نے پھر بینظیر کی کردارکشی کیلئے اسلام پسند ایڈیٹروں کی خدمات حاصل کی گئیں۔ پنجاب کے سابق آئی جی پولیس چودھری سردار محمد اس مہم کا اہم ترین حصہ تھے اور سی آئی ڈی کے سربراہ تھے۔ انہوں نے اپنی کتاب میں تسلیم کیا ہے کہ بینظیر بھٹو کی کردارکشی کیلئے بنایا گیا سیل ایک ایڈیٹر سراج منیر، حقانی اور خود چودھری سردار پر مشتمل تھا جو صوبائی وزیر ٹکا اقبال کے سرکاری گھر میں منصوبے بناتا اور پبلسٹی مہم چلاتا تھا۔ عام تاثر یہی تھا کہ بیگم نصرت بھٹو اور بینظیر بھٹو کی قابل اعتراض نیم عریاں تصاویر کی تقسیم اسی حکمت عملی کا حصہ تھا۔ یہ قابل اعتراض تصاویر تقسیم کرنے کے لئے ن لیگ نے حسین حقانی کی خدمات حاصل کی تھیں جو کبھی نوازشریف کی ناک کا بال ہوا کرتا تھا. اس نے یہ تصاویر جہاز اور ہیلی کاپٹر کے ذریعے مختلف آبادیوں پر برسوائیں. یہ قابل اعتراض تصاویر بڑوں کے ساتھ ساتھ بچوں کے ہاتھ میں لگیں. مجھے اچھی طرح یاد ہے کہ اس وقت جب یہ تصاویر برسائی جارہی تھیں تو بچے تصاویر حاصل کرنے کے لئے بھاگ رہے تھے اور تصاویر حاصل کررہے تھے
